Elegant Corpses .ePub for Apple iBooks

This version of Elegant Corpses, a book of short fiction and poetry by Brian Grover is optimized for Apple but should work in any eReader that supports ePub 2 or 3. It contains additional audio, a more complex layout and colour photos, that may be lacking in the Kindle version. Kindles with eInk, for example, display photos in black & white only.

As mentioned, this version should also work on other ePub 3 compatible devices and desktops — Windows, Mac or Linux — equipped with a modern eReader. To read it on a Windows PC, check out Adobe Digital Editions.

It should work fine on Android as well. Just choose an eReader that supports ePub 3.

Honestly, the only eReader that supports all the graphic elements included in the design of Elegant Corpses is the generic Books app that’s integrated into iOS. Even Adobe Digital Editions, which handles the audio well, messes up the end marks and other font-based embellishments.

Directly downloading and installing to an iPad or iPhone is fairly easy. I usually download the ePub file to a PC then add it to Dropbox. From there, I locate it in Dropbox on my iPad and click the ellipsis […] next to the file and choose “Export.” From there I choose “Open in…” then “More…” and finally select “Copy to Books” and it should load from there. I’m sure it’s possible to download it directly to your device but I’ve never done it.
